Photo taken from Oh Ridge by Guy Davis, Air Monitoring Technician II for the Great Basin Unified APCD, just after noon today.

For information on the June Fire which started yesterday afternoon, September 16, 2014, see this announcement: June Fire 0917 am.  Updates and additional photos are posted on  The smoke appears to be going upslope and lofting over the immediate community.  Transport winds are predicted to be in the south to southwest range.  Communities downwind should only be mildly impacted by the smoke.
